why do feminists hate rape jokes at the expense of women so much?
because they hate being reminded they are fragile spiteful creatures meant to be bred and controlled.

I used to think that sentences like that were exaggerations, but were basically right. I'm no longer convinced it's that big of an exaggeration. The only thing I think I could imagine adding to that to make it more true is some half-garbled attempt to explain the layers of truth and delusion that women wrap around themselves via their inherent psychoses.

Leftists exaggerate because they're evil. They're disappointed in their friends for not boycotting the new Harry Potter game just because Rowling offended the trans terrorist "lobby"? They'll claim you're killing people or the reason trannies kill themselves. It's just a tactic to shock you. They'll sling blame and shame like they're wildly swinging a baseball bat around, hoping to beat you to death, hoping one of these swings lets them get what they want.

We're the smart ones who understand reality and how to work within it. They're the idiotic cultists who would rather build a wall around what they can control and deny anything exists beyond it. They don't want to admit nigger tolerance is a disaster, women can't handle the responsibility of political power, and commie "treat the seed with acid and train the seed to grow whatever food you want" style "science" results in mass starvation. They don't want to admit they're weak and stupid and inferior and worthless, because if we were naturally allowed to be better than them in ways they cannot deny, they would feel small. And they'd rather kill us and themselves for the sake of their feelings than try to find any way to discover joy within a humble life, because they feel entitled to power even if they aren't capable of using it wisely.

>Anonymity Online: Is It Possible to Not Leave a Trace?
>Given that close monitoring online (online surveillance) now begins at an early age, digital hygiene should be well taken care of ever since one’s childhood.
>All in all, one should bear in mind that your unique digital signature consists of:
>1 - factory identifier IMEI of your smart phone
>2 - the list of apps and files on your device such as your laptop or your mobile phone which is available to many devices and apps, your antivirus, your computer viruses and your Trojans, your browser, your operating system, your office apps and all the office apps of your colleagues etc
>3 - your Bluetooth environment – all the devices your Bluetooth gets in touch with to share data or which it has ever got in touch with and joined digitally, your music devices at home or in your car, your ear phones, your voice tools etc.
>4 - your Wi-fi environment – a list of all the Wi-fi devices around your place of work or your home.
>5 - your browser history – a list of the websites and internet services you regularly visit
>6 - your list of friends on social media – your social impression is unique even if you decide to use a pseudonym to go online. That list exists with the social media platform as such, and with all the ‘monitoring’ programmes and in your browser as well.
>7 - your lexical signature – a group of your favourite words, phrases and sayings, and even a unique combination of your common typos
>8 - your face and faces of others on your photos and videos on social media – a combination of all the faces including yours among others, is also a unique identifier.
>9 - your geographical signature – a list of your routes and geographical points you go to, either in your own city or outside. It exists in >10 - your navigator or your navigation apps
>11 - your voice signature – your voice digital footprint or ‘impression’ you leave either while using your mobile phone or the microphone on your laptop.
>12 - your search list key words – apart from the situational keywords to search depending on the situation, there are regular search keywords you often look up and type in, and their combination is certainly unique i.e. your own, and it exists on your favourite search engine and browser.
>13 - your list of favourite topics – for examples in the news portal
>14 - a list of the devices in your neighbourhood – for example, your internet provider ‘can see’ which other mobile devices are normally in the immediate vicinity such as your family members or close colleagues.

>Code Kept Secret for Years Reveals Its Flaw — a Backdoor
>The backdoor, known for years by vendors that sold the technology but not necessarily by customers, exists in an encryption algorithm baked into radios sold for commercial use in critical infrastructure. It’s used to transmit encrypted data and commands in pipelines, railways, the electric grid, mass transit, and freight trains. It would allow someone to snoop on communications to learn how a system works, then potentially send commands to the radios that could trigger blackouts, halt gas pipeline flows, or reroute trains.
>The vast majority of police forces around the world, aside from the US, use TETRA-based radio technology, the researchers found, after conducting open source research. TETRA is used by police forces in Belgium and the Scandinavian countries, East European countries like Serbia, Moldova, Bulgaria, and Macedonia, as well as in the Middle East in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria.
>Additionally, the Ministries of Defense in Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, and Syria use it. The Polish military counterintelligence agency uses it, as does the Finnish defense forces, and Lebanon and Saudi Arabia’s intelligence service, to name just a few.

manegele little humanpony

genetics is magic.

base: human dna, edited with pony dna and cat dna (mlp ponies have cat lije features)

i don't think actual hooves would be apropriate, but very stronhly modified paws. those would look more like mlp pony hooves and could still allow for object manipulation.

wings and horns would be mostly useless.

the colors are going to be complicated, especialy blue hues.

Human as a base, then recessive gemne activation, pony genes and cat genes ( mlp ponies are closer to felines in their anatomy and facial structure than to equines). a few genes present in dogs would encourage loyality and bonding.

Or will you stay a sorry blob of flesh and be left behind to die on this sick and decaying world. The choice is yours

That said, LineageOS is great. It also has superior backwards compatibility with older android apps in my experience.
You can also run it in Linux with nearly native speed through a container:

The Failure of Modern Science
Anonymous
No.2560
2561
Peer review was supposed to be the gold standard of science. Instead, it turned out to be a fraud that polluted the knowledge base, corrupted the profession, and destroyed confidence in the method.

It’s very important to remember that most people neither know or understand anything about science, so the idea that science is not only less than perfectly reliable, but is, in fact, reliably false is extremely foreign to them. They have no idea that reliable science is called “engineering”, and in fact, their grasp of the credibility of the two fields is usually inverted.

But if you are an independent thinker capable of processing information on your own, it should not be too difficult to grasp that science is intrinsically flawed due to several unavoidable factors that boil down to the absence of any controlling factor for the human element.

Peer review was never that missing factor. As I pointed out years ago, peer review doesn’t even rise to the level of editing, much less auditing, it is more akin to slush-file reading by volunteers. The great irony of the primary defense of peer review is that it is a concept based on nothing more than pure logic utilized to justify an activity specifically conceived to replace the use of pure logic.

Well, the corona hoax has demonstrated that science is a fraudulent activity used for political purposes. Add to that that scientists are cheaper and easier to buy, then the scope of the fraud gets off the charts.

Some good things there, but it may be alienating without pros/cons or why it has even been mentioned, so I'll write those for some things I'm familiar with.

For example, regarding the operating systems category - I assume they were chosen because they don't use the (((Systemd))) cancer and are generally quite secure:
Artix Linux is very good and has a really good community as well, but it's also easy to "break" it (for example, by simply running an update) and will then require the command line to fix up. Been using mostly Linux for around 10 years, but I moved away from Artix because of that.
Also, there are so many init system choices for Artix, people get confused and create threads asking which one to use, which will usually start some kind of discussion every few months. :/

I generally use Devuan with the Cinnamon desktop (don't remember if it does minor telemetry though) or MX Linux with XFCE, although hibernating on a LUKS encrypted install can be flaky because both standard installs don't create a large enough hibernation partition by default, and MX Linux more or less gave up trying to get hibernation running on most machines so have hidden the option. Manually setting up a functioning LUKS install with hibernation is still a huge PITA.

Some quick comments before going to bed (will post more later):
Matrix requires email and collects metadata,
Telegram isn't as secure as people think it is because it requires an identifying phone number, could still match metadata to messages and the creator is on the WEF website,
Tox apps will reveal IP addresses unless running over VPN or TOR,
Otter Browser is cute but crashes frequently.

The only search engine worth using for serious searches nowadays IMO is Yandex.com, because using a frontend like Searx will still pull results from google, and they shoah anything useful before sending the censored results on to other services.

Yandex.com is the last big search engine left standing, and still reminds one of the "good old days" when searches would actually come up with diverse and interesting results, rather than homogeneous satan-(pre)approved ones.

You can also sign up and sign into custom matrix servers. The policies and requirements can be different and more or less secure depending on who made it.

I generally use qwant.com for a search engine, but meh.
Also you forgot to list gab.com
Probably the most interesting thing out there is the Gemini Protocol
https://gemini.circumlunar.space/docs/faq.gmi
>Gemini is a new application-level internet protocol for the distribution of arbitrary files, with some special consideration for serving a lightweight hypertext format which facilitates linking between files. You may think of Gemini as "the web, stripped right back to its essence"

Tons of other things, krita and inkscape for art, synfig for 2D vector animation, LMMS or Aurdor for making music (DAW), handbrake for encoding videos, kdenlive for video editing, FreeCAD for designing and drawing parts or making technical 3D models, CoreCTRL for overclocking AMD video cards, can do processor stuff too, VeraCrypt for encrypting disk images, full disks, or groups of disks, probably other things I can't think of

>>2340
No, matrix does not require a phone number, but some servers might require such a thing (won't affect federation at all)
matrix.horse and mlp.chat are your two best based pony matrix servers.

>FreeCAD for designing and drawing parts
I never used a CAD software so unfinished and cumbersome. The current devs are not to the task to make it at least user friendly and iron its quirks. Not actually their fault, the code is a 20 years old C++ spaghetti that no one can understand how it works and needs to be re-written from zero. So, what the devs were and are doing in the last yeas is to write python pluggins to extend functionality, but the flawed core is helpless.

Biocomputers

No.2185
Biocomputers (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biological_computing) are an emergency technology where biological components are made to store and/or process information for computers. Biocomputers have been made in the past using brain cells (https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn6573-brain-cells-in-a-dish-fly-fighter-plane/) however keeping brain cells alive is both difficult and expensive. Other approaches are currently being tried using fungi and bacteria. (https://www.technologyreview.com/2021/11/09/1039107/e-coli-maze-solving-biocomputer/ https://www.cnet.com/science/pianist-to-perform-musical-duet-with-slime-mold/). There are also approaches in synthetic biology that would use individual biological molecules for computing. (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNA_computing https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peptide_computing https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transcriptor)

So my question to you /cyb/ is how will these devices change the world of computing?

This is the third biocomputer this year to make headlines. Seems there is a lot of interest in biocompting right now.

An electro-chemical reaction is not a computer and tweaking that reaction is not the software.
That cretin is using the 'computer' label while calling his contact in the judenpresse to facilitate more shekels and a steady incoming.

If they can use electro-chemical reactions to solve problems then it is a form of computing.

A forced analogy (a form of computing you said) doesn't turn one into another.

CGI BULLSHIT ALERT
>US Navy Tests Iron Man-Like Jetpacks
>Gravity Industries showcased their Iron Man-like jetpacks at a field training exercise earlier this month in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
>Gravity worked with the Joint Prototyping and Experimentation Maritime program at Naval Surface Warfare Center to conduct multiple mock exercises with the jetpacks, including rapid transit from shore-to-sea and sea-to-shore missions.

I'm not sure who the fuck is in charge now in the globohomo matrix, but the video shown is an insult to any inquisitive person's intelligence.
The specs are totally out of touch regarding of weight and range, not to mention the 4 jets' momentum at the soldiers arms, which would make the flight totally unstable as flesh arms are not suitable for such a controlled fit. Not to mention the jets' blast burning grass, pants, and even the pick-up truck where the CGI pilot landed.

The quick rundown is you too can make your own jetpack as most of the new frontier stuff is already done.

Jetpacks can be a very simple thing to make, depending on the desired goals.
Jetpack man, the guy who does all the jetpack stuff in movies for a long time, uses a monopropellant. Hydrogen Peroxide is pushed through a series of ceramic and silver screens which turn it to steam and oxygen, giving thrust.
Very very simple design and there is no open flame. If I recall correctly the ISP (specific impulse) is around 120sec for such a setup.
If used as a hybrid rocket, ISP should jump to about 2-3x that (250-360) without much more effort.

(I havent watched any of the videos, just making a comment about typical "jetpacks", with knowledge on rocket engine design)

Looks believable enough to me, and looks really cool too. Can't deny it.

It's a lot cooler than the drones and armed robots we've been seeing last decade.
